This is a quick overview of how Simple Course Creator works in WordPress and what you can do with it.
A Course in Simple Course Creator is incredibly similar to a post Category or Tag. They use the same WordPress architecture and functionality. Essentially, they’re identical. What makes Courses special is how Simple Course Creator uses them to display content.
That said, creating a Course follows the same logic as creating a Category. Courses can be created in several locations:
- Add a new Course or select an existing Course from the post edit screen.
- Add a new Course or select an existing Course from the posts table (WordPress Dashboard -> All Posts -> Quick Edit)
- Add a new Course or edit existing Courses from the Courses taxonomy page (WordPress Dashboard -> Courses)
A post can be assigned to more than one course. When it is, a separate listing is displayed for each assigned course within the post content.
